A Legacy Rooted in Texas

Texas is famous for its cowboy boots, and the roots of that tradition run deep in Nocona, Texas—the home of Fenoglio Boot Company.

Located in North Texas and shaped by the history of the Chisholm Trail, Nocona became a center of Western bootmaking. To serve the cowboys driving cattle along the trail, H.J. "Daddy Joe" Justin established his bootmaking business near the Red River before later moving operations to the Fort Worth Stockyards.

After Daddy Joe's passing, his daughter, Enid Justin—known affectionately as "Miss Enid"—remained in Nocona and founded the Nocona Boot Company. Determined to honor her father's vision and support the community that had supported her family, she built Nocona Boots into one of the most respected names in Western footwear.

Following Miss Enid's death in 1990, the Nocona brand was acquired by the Justin family. As the town faced the loss of its iconic boot manufacturer, another Nocona family stepped forward.

The Fenoglio family, whose roots in Nocona date back to 1886, embraced the opportunity to continue the town's proud bootmaking tradition. Building upon the principles that made Nocona famous while incorporating modern advancements, they founded Fenoglio Boot Company.

Today, Fenoglio employs highly skilled craftsmen, many with more than 40 years of bootmaking experience. Every pair is built using traditional methods and an unwavering commitment to quality, ensuring that the legacy of Texas bootmaking continues for generations to come.

Fenoglio Boot Company proudly crafts some of the finest truly Texas-made boots available today.
